What it costs to answer the phone
A medical clinic receptionist in Edmonton earns a median of $20.00 an hour. With CPP, EI, WCB, vacation and benefits, that’s about $23.60 an hour to the clinic.
Your front desk covers roughly 45 hours a week. There are 168 in a week. The other 123 — evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, lunch breaks, and every minute your receptionist is already on another call — aren’t covered by anyone. Those are the hours patients call and don’t get through.
| Hours covered each month | Cost each month | Cost per hour | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Your receptionist | 195 | ~$4,600 | $23.60 |
| Covering the other hours with people | 533 | ~$12,600 | $23.60 |
| Reception Core | 728 — all of them | $599 | $0.82 |
We’re not here to replace your receptionist. She handles the patient standing in front of her, which no software should. We answer the hours she can’t be there — for under a dollar an hour, and without anyone having to be awake at 3am.

Connected to what you already run
Most AI receptionists will book into a calendar and stop there. That leaves your team retyping everything into the system where the patient record actually lives.
Ours writes into your practice-management system or CRM directly. Where there’s no ready-made connection, we build the API integration — that is included in the price rather than quoted as a project.
And the call doesn’t end the conversation. Every booking triggers a confirmation by SMS, WhatsApp or email, whichever your patients actually read, followed by a reminder before the appointment. The no-show rate is a front-desk problem long before it’s a clinical one.
Books into your system, not a spreadsheet

Custom API integration, included
Not an add-on, not a change request.
Confirmations and reminders that arrive
SMS, WhatsApp or email, sent automatically, in your clinic’s voice.

Hindi and French Coming 15 September 2026
Add either language for 40% on top of the monthly fee — Reception Core becomes $839 a month, Reception Plus $1,539. The setup fee does not change.
We would rather explain that number than hide it. A bilingual voice agent costs us about 60% more per minute to run than an English one — the speech models are heavier and the infrastructure behind them is more expensive. We pass through less than the full increase, and we keep it as an add-on so that clinics running in English alone aren’t quietly paying for a capability they’ll never use.
If a meaningful share of your patients would rather book in Hindi or French, this pays for itself in completed bookings rather than abandoned calls. If they wouldn’t, don’t buy it.
